Traditionally, pupils in Schools have carried an appointment card or sheet back and forth between their parents and teachers.  This can often become 'mislaid', timings of appointments can be inconvenient or teachers of certain subjects may be fully booked.  Not to mention the time that the teacher takes to make the appointments at the start or end of the lesson. 

Using the new Parents Evening software from hdc, enables parents to book their own appointments directly and at times that suit both the teacher and themselves. 

• Fully Hosted Web based Service - No implications on the School server.  Parents can access the system from any internet connected computer. 
• Import Data from your Management System - Your data from your School Management system can easily be imported into the software making setup very quick and easy.
• Automatic Teacher/Student Mapping - When adding a booking, the student's teachers are pre-selected for the parent ensuring an efficient process.
• Flexible and Secure - Log-in codes can be generated for each student which is distributed to parents.  Alternatively, a parent can be authenticated by the student's name and registration/tutor class.
• School in control - Cut off dates for appointment making, length of appointment, intervals between appointments can all be customised by the School.  School's can, of course, administer the making of appointments for those parents who have no access to the internet. 
• Further information - Once the parent completes their appointments, a schedule is emailed to them, together with any further information the School may want to give (eg parking information).
